Helen Dumas is an authority in the methodology of teaching Greek as a second language.  She served as the Director of Greek Education for the Western United States for 25 years.  She has been recognized and honored by the Government of Greece for 30 years of invaluable contributions toward the preservation and perpetuation of the Greek language, heritage and the Hellenic ideals in the United States of America.
 
Helen was nationally awarded “Teacher of the Year ” twice – for teaching English Literature and World History in the most unique and original way, at both the high school and junior college levels.  Her unique teaching method that gets students maximum results in eight weeks is the result of 30 years of research, field testing and curriculum development.
